
Sample Process for Logotype Development
Brand Research:
Discovery Phase: Competitive research on what the competition is doing, and evaluating the different brands in your industry space.
Concept Development:
Brainstorming, conceptual sketches, and visual metaphors are explored. Multiple potential concepts will be created during this early phase of Creative exploration.
Concept Implementation (Logotype Creation):
A minimum of 3 unique Logotype designs will be created. These are presented to client for review and feedback.
Logotype Revisions:
Then there are up to 3 rounds of client revisions to chosen Logo before the final logotype is approved.
Stationery System Design:
Design and Layout of Business stationery system using final chosen logotype. Designs are presented for client review and feedback.
Stationery System Design Revisions:
Client chooses a single design direction. Then there are up to 3 rounds of client revisions to chosen design direction before a final design is approved. Including creating b-cards for up to 3 different employees using the final approved template design.
Communication & Print Management:
Communication: Meetings, critiques, phone calls, emails, correspondence, etc. Print Management: Advise given on choosing a printer, negotiating prices, prepping final artwork, checking print proofs, etc.
